mentor Questions

thank you!

Mentoring can be fun and very rewarding. It is helpful to allow and encourage your Scholar (mentee) to share ideas and dreams with you. Also, encourage her to share the challenges of her daily life. You may be tempted to tell her how to conquer these challenges but having her come up with her own solutions us a much better approach.

We have made a commitment to our funders that we require all of our Scholars to have a mentor. If by chance you do not feel comfortable with your Scholar, please contact us at WWAC immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issues.

All information that your Scholar shares should be held in strictest confidence. Unbroken trust is critical to your Scholar’s success. Please remember if your Scholar is not fulfilling her obligation to WWAC to inform her that she has made a promise to “work the program.”
